Chief Operating Officer
Joska is responsible for leading a highly skilled and experienced team to successfully deliver reliable services for its stakeholders.
He joined Basslink in August 2005, prior to the commencement of commercial operations of the Interconnector, bringing with him industry experience from the oil and gas, maritime and utilities sectors.
A member of the Institute of Engineers Australia (IEAust), the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Joska is the current chair of the Oceania Submarine Cable Association (OSCA) and represents Basslink on both the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC) and International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE).
Joska holds a Bachelor in Technology in Maritime Electrical & Electronic Engineering, a Masters of Business Administration in Maritime Management & Logistics both from the Australian Maritime College. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Risk Management from the International Graduate School of Risk Management in addition to a Diploma in Ocean Law and Policy from the Rhodes Academy.
