Lana Radley

Risk and Compliance Manager

Lana Radley was appointed as Risk and Compliance Manager at Basslink in March 2019.

Over her career, Lana has specialised in fostering the development of risk culture across multiple organisations and has a proven track record of major achievements in this area across the utilities, insurance, health, human services and non-for-profit sectors. Lana’s particular strengths lie in  strategy development and workshop facilitation. She has helped multiple organisations professionalise their approach to risk management in areas such as risk leadership, risk appetite, risk analysis and project management. Her practical approach in coaching, guiding and educating those from Board down to staff level has resulted in risk management being incorporated into the practices, policies and business planning of several organisations.
Lana is an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional and has implemented risk management frameworks and systems across multiple sectors. Her practical approach involves the development and implementation of risk management and compliance systems and educational tools which cater to all levels of the business.

Lana also has a strong background in strategic and operational risk. She worked for the Department of Defence over a seven year period during which she held several key positions in the defence international policy and intelligence divisions and advised Defence leaders on national security risk.

She holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and has conducted Masters studies at Seikei University, Japan on the Australian – Japan trade relationship. She holds a degree in Japanese linguistics.

Lana is responsible for the implementation of Basslink’s Risk Management Framework and Compliance system as well as managing the company’s IT function.
